Every event will have a co-leader. The selection criteria for the co-leader should follow the same guides as for the team leader. The co-leader is in training for a future Kaizen event, although he/she is also a Kaizen team participant. The co-leader will attend any special meetings along with the team leader, will assist in filling out any checklists and forms, and will participate with the team leader in assessing the Kaizen results. The co-leader will also be paying special attention to the details of running a Kaizen event, knowing that he/she will be responsible for one in the near future.
