Central Kaizen Data

Once we embark on our never-ending Kaizen journey, we need a place to store our Kaizen data and results, to share information, and track action items and schedules. There are many ways to achieve this, but one way is to use a server-based project management system. A web PMS can be used to create a schedule, upload files, assign responsibilities at company, project and task levels, send group emails, and even maintain a Kaizen blog.

There are many PMS software packages available. One of the best is called dotProject, and it has the additional advantage that it is free. This Open Source system can be downloaded from www.dotproject.net. There are many commercial PMS software systems also available.
