Compile hard copy of presentation and present to management and those who want one Follow up on action items remaining Liaison with next team leader and share the good and bad of the event

Something always remains to do at the end of a Kaizen event, in spite of our best efforts to complete everything during the event itself. Follow-up on the remaining items will fall in the hands of the team leader and coordinator. If tasks are assigned to others, the team leader will need to follow up at least once a week, and ask four questions:

What did you complete in the last week?
What are your plans for this week?
What obstacles are you finding in completing this action?
What can I (the team leader) do to help you?

A Kaizen event itself should also be a process that continually improves. An important aspect of that continual improvement is a meeting with the next Kaizen leader. Topics of discussion include what went well, and what could be improved.
