This is a review of the line/cell design process, as documented in Fundamentals of Flow Manufacturing. If this is a line/cell design Kaizen, this information would be a part of the training on Day 1. The data collection portion of this process should, however, be completed ahead of time. Demand information, process times, process flow diagrams should be complete and available when the event begins.
