Welcome to the Kaizen Leader Training Course This course covers all of the essential ingredients of a successful Kaizen event, from pre-planning to execution to conclusion and follow-up. This course is a required pre-requisite for Kaizen leaders and team members in your company, to make sure that you get the most out of your investment in process improvement. We also want to make sure that our changes are sustainable and will last after the Kaizen event is over.

Welcome. This is an extremely exciting topic. Flow and Lean Manufacturing has proven to be the methodology of choice to complete in the global economy. In fact, there really isn’t any other choice, so it’s good that we’re here and getting going.
You are not the guinea pigs. Thousands of companies have done this in the past successfully. Thousands of companies did not implement lean, and are no longer in business. It will work in your environment, but we need to a) persevere b) use the right tools and c) be creative.
The aerospace industry is in need of improvement, if we want to survive and thrive in the future, and build a career for ourselves here.
This session is intended to be very much a discussion and not a monologue. We’ll be touching on a lot of issues, and the pace will be pretty fast. But let’s go as deep as we need to.
