Along with every Process Owner we expect to have a Process Champion. The Process Champion someone at a higher level in the company who will work with the Process Owners to ensure accountability, provide resources, clear away roadblocks and monitor progress. The Process Champion may or may not actually work in the process. The Process Owner “reports to” the Process Champion.
