The Event Coordinator (working with the team leader) is responsible for the final management presentation. The reason for this is that the team leader will typically be too fully involved with the Kaizen implementation to be able to do a complete job of report preparation.

Refer to the checklist on the slide for a list of action items for the Event Coordinator. Note that the Event Coordinator is also responsible for follow-up on any outstanding items. While we don’t like to end up with a long list of things remaining, it is inevitable that not everything can be completed during the short amount of time dedicated to the Kaizen event. In this sense the event is never really “done”: it needs to be monitored, maintained and improved in the future.
