The goal of this series of hands-on sessions is to simulate the steps of an actual three to five day Kaizen event in a shorter period of time. This will give you direct experience with the various forms, working together as a team, accomplishing mutual goals, and even creating a final presentation report-out. The five sessions planned will take place over the next two days, and include:

The initial planning process and team selection.
The assessment and selection of the Kaizen area. Note that we will have more than one Kaizen team.
Brainstorming changes and improvements in each mini-Kaizen area, and documenting an implementation plan.
Actual making the changes in our target area, and
Doing a formal report-out and having a team celebration.
